charming stay in a historical building
free sweets comfortable bed decent gym easy tram
the sweets and prosecco were a lovely, freely available treat in reception. our room was a good size. the bed proved really comfy.. spa and gym were pretty decent for the size and price this hotel offers. i walked from the city center in about 35 minutes and found the tram easily navigable.
The hotel is beautiful from the outside. i found the interior design a bit too rich and perhaps lacking a certain style.

attentive staff stylish decoration spacious shower
I enjoyed the attentiveness of the staff. They were so kind. the hotel decoration was stylish, i found. breakfast was delicious, a good start to each day! the shower was quite spacious, a welcome feature.
the tram station is a bit far for those with mobility issues.

delicious breakfast clean room limited menu rude porter
the breakfast was delicious and offered many choices. i also found the room nice and clean. we loved the spacious shower.
The hotel menu had limited options and there weren't many convenience stores within walking distance. i experienced a rude porter. His tone was unacceptable and it was actually none of his concern.

kind staff concierge wizard detailed information great spot
i found the staff kind. lotus, the concierge, offered tons of travel information before i even arrived. she answered my emails promptly regarding trains, trams, and points of interest.. i really appreciated that level of detail. the hotel bar was a great spot for evening bites and drinks.
the spa area felt smaller than expected, and it lacked some attention to detail. it didn't quite match the five-star expectation.

great staff free cake clean room pillow menu
the staff was great and remembered my partner's birthday.. they overheard me mention it. the hotel later delivered a cake to our room completely free. our room was also very clean with a great spa. i definitely will stay here again. the pillow menu allowed us to be as comfortable as we would be at home.
i thought the rims would have more river view, but the river was across the road.

small room missing iron
the location was acceptable, just a short walk to the tram.
The room i got felt small. It was nothing like the photos i saw when i booked it. the toilet door was directly in front of the bed. there was no iron or ironing board in the room, and i had to ask multiple times to get one. it was a frustrating experience.

the reception had a classy design.. the links to the city center were very accessible. there were some lovely local restaurants just a short walk away, which i found good. i especially appreciated the building's overall beautiful layout.
the breakfast could be improved considering its cost.. it lacked some variety.
